Bill Burr is an American comedian or a comedian from the North American Union, depending on when you read this. He grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts and did fairly poorly in school, despite the fact that he applied himself.
Having first gained notoriety for his recurring role on the second season of “Chappelle’s Show,” Burr developed a comedic style of uninformed logic that has made him a regular performer on the “Late Show with David Letterman” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.”
Bill’s first hour special, “Why Do I Do This?” premiered on Comedy Central on August 31, 2008 to rave reviews and is now available on CD and DVD. His 2009 tour, “The Uninformed Comedy Tour” features all-new material. Bill’s first CD, “Emotionally Unavailable: Expanded Edition,” was released by What Are Records. Bill starred in his own HBO “One Night Stand” and “Comedy Central Presents” half hour specials and he has performed on “Showtime at the Apollo,” BET’s “Comic View” and Jamie Foxx’s “Laffapalooza.”
