Reunited and performing together for the first time in over 10 years, the Steve Morse Band returns with a long-awaited live set including fan favorites from the band’s illustrious career. Featuring a trio of some of the world’s most notable instrumentalists – Steve Morse, Dave LaRue, and Van Romaine – this evening with the legendary act promises to be a can’t-miss event in music history and a true testament to their status as the original gold standard in rock fusion.

The night brings together three icons, beginning with the band’s namesake and Guitar Player Hall of Famer Steve Morse, songwriter and bandleader of The Dixie Dregs, member of supergroup Flying Colors, as well as former guitarist of Deep Purple, Kansas and more. Morse’s position as a true legend in the guitar community has long been cemented, even being considered the “best guitarist…I’ve ever worked with” by world-renowned producer Ken Scott (Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Jeff Beck, David Bowie), and this performance sees him joined by long-time rhythm section partners Dave LaRue and Van Romaine.

Dave LaRue is nothing short of a legend in his own right, his technical prowess admired among other jazz and rock fusionists with the projection of his virtuosity marked with remarkable soul and feel. LaRue continues to perform alongside Steve Morse not only with the Steve Morse Band, but also with The Dixie Dregs, and Flying Colors. LaRue has amassed a multitude of genre-leading bandmates including Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Paul Gilbert and many, many more. His recent performances with John Petrucci have only served to build an even stronger fanbase and reinforce LaRue’s status as the definition of bass musicianship.
Van Romaine’s resume is one that impresses even the most discerning of established artists and aficionados. As drummer and Music Director for worldwide arena acts such as Enrique Iglesias and German superstar Nena, Romaine has toured the planet extensively and continues to be one of the most in-demand in his field. Having worked with legendary names like Blood, Sweat & Tears, Billy Joel, Kansas, and Naughty by Nature among many more, Romaine has recorded on 7 multi-Platinum singles and performed on enormous stages such as Live 8, American Music Awards, and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with some of modern music’s biggest headliners including Bad Bunny, Pitbull, and Ciara.

In a can’t-miss celebration of musical prowess and unparalleled instrumental songwriting, this evening’s set from the inimitable trio is undoubtedly poised to be a music lover’s dream come true. Steve Morse brings back one of his original career-defining acts that introduced the world to his supreme virtuosity over 30 years ago. Still at the top of their musical game, the Steve Morse Band have returned to showcase and share their genre-defining musicianship once again.
