When their fledgling late night talk show was canceled just as it was getting off the ground, Busy Philipps and her creative partner, Caissie St.Onge, were pretty bummed. After decades of experiencing countless show business disappointments and decisions that didn’t make a lot of sense to them, they decided they wanted to try to do it on their own terms. And things were starting to go pretty well! They had their bags packed and were ready to hop on a plane to take what they both believed would be the biggest most destiny-fulfilling meeting of both of their lives when…boom, global pandemic.
