Jenny is a co-host of ABC’s Emmy Award winning daytime talk show, The View.
Jenny McCarthy’s honesty, humility and humor have enabled her to transcend the boundaries of her roles as comedian, actress, host and best-selling author. A highly-regarded NY Times Best Selling author, McCarthy’s books include the bestseller LOVE, LUST, AND FAKING IT: The Naked Truth About Sex, Lies, and True Romance. Her latest book, BAD HABITS: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic hit stores in October 2012, and also landed on the NY Times Bestseller List. Upon completion of her 8th book in 9 years, Jenny decided to re-focus her attention on her first love – TV.
Playing recurring guest roles on major network television shows, such as “Two and a Half Men,” “Just Shoot Me,” and “The Drew Carey Show,” Jenny continues to be a naturally engaging comedic actress. She recently hosted her own live comedy special “Dirty, Sexy, Funny,” which aired on Epix February 14, 2014. The “Dirty, Sexy, Funny” nationwide tour premieres this May.
The one-time “Singled Out” star can be found guest co-hosting with the ladies of ABC’s The View from time to time in addition to joining co-host Ryan Seacrest, reporting live from Times Square on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” every December 31st.
