After a sold out 16-city tour through Europe, the queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race will unleash their own brand of hilarity and hijinks upon the USA this fall with the extension of their WERQ THE WORLD TOUR. Produced by Voss Events in collaboration with VH1 and World of Wonder, the tour will launch October 12th in San Diego and end October 29th in Chicago. Hosted by Bob The Drag Queen with sickening performances by Acid Betty, Laganja Estranja, Kim Chi, Latrice Royale, Peppermint, Shangela, Valentina, Violet Chachki and music by Lady Bunny.
“Our European audiences raved over Werq The World, and we’re thrilled to bring the exciting experience to our die-hard fans in the USA,” says Shangela. “You won’t find this unique combination of talent, production and fan interaction with any other drag tour out there.”
“It’s been a year since the last US tour, and these queens are coming with fierce new looks, never-before-seen theatrics and over the top production numbers that will leave fans gagging,” promises producer Brandon Voss. “It will be especially interesting for fans to witness how the season nine queens stack up against the veterans. RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE WERQ THE WORLD TOUR is a collaborative effort and its incredible to watch the new girls and veterans coming together on some unbelievably creative numbers.”
