The Wall Live Extravaganza: “A Floydian Spectacle” following their critically and box office acclaimed U.S. debut at The Wilbur Thr., Boston in December – have announced tour plans for August. 2017 celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Pink Floyd and Roger Waters is touring … but even his gargantuan production would find something to envy about the musicianship, original production genius, and especially the ‘portrayals’ of the cynical characters that inhabit the creator’s not so fictitious dystopian society – which is the hallmark of this band from Quebec province, mostly Montreal.

Creator & guitarist Richard Petite, originally inspired by The Wall Movie to create a genuine version were the scenography meets the live act … fabled concerts staged in New York and London in 1981, and Roger Waters own production at The Berlin Wall in 1990. He commenced doing shows in 2016 with many of the musicians that were knows as Les Vikings. Through his production design, and amazing guitar playing by band leader Michel Bruno – leading 5 musicians and 4 singers, each getting many moments to shine, and they do.

The Wall Live Extravaganza has created a unique and original rock spectacle unlike anything, anywhere previously seen. Sets, props, costumes, effects, scrim and projection evoke a “Floydian spectacle” – that first already enjoyed an unprecedented string of sold out concerts in Quebec. It debuted in the U.S. (Dec. 2016 – Feb. 2017) with shows that instantly created thousands of Facebook followers who continue to post about those 11 mythic shows and express a strong desire for more.

In August, the band will perform a special series of shows to celebrate the Aug. 21 Total Solar Eclipse, the first in North America this century. They are seeking a locale of totality so as to be the first band ever to perform under such a fantastic and storied phenomenon. Ideally, it would have to be in the South or South Central U.S. circa early afternoon on the 21st of August.
