Genesis Revisited with Classic Hackett
Steve Hackett released his newest album ”Wolflight” in late March 2015. Since then he has been touring extensively in Europe & the UK and on the East coast of the US in the Fall of 2015. ‘Wolflight’ is his first original studio album since ”Beyond The Shrouded Horizon” that was released in 2011. It takes the listener on an extensive musical journey, through parallel universes. Hackett explores everything from ancient cultures to his own childhood memories. The track ”Black Thunder” is inspired by Martin Luther King, ”Corycian Fire” is about the ancient Greek culture and ”Love Song To A Vampire” reflects upon the forever difficult topic of domestic violence. Steve Hackett has released more than 30 solo albums in addition to the 7 he did with Genesis, as well as one album he did with the super group GTR together with Steve Howe of Yes and Asia.
His continued ‘Acolyte to Wolflight’ tour will feature his solo works and also a section of Genesis classics including ‘The Musical box’, ‘Cinema Show’ and ‘Can-Utility and the Coastliners’
