WICF is thrilled to present an evening with actress, comedian, and best-selling author Amy Sedaris. WICF will also be honoring Amy with the inaugural WICF Award for Excellence for her tremendous and varied impact in comedy The New York Times best-selling author of I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence, Amy Sedaris has also appeared in movies, television shows and plays, including Puberty: The Movie, as the voice of Paulie the Penis; Shrek the Third, as the voice of Cinderella; Strangers With Candy (the film); Bewitched; and Chicken Little, as the voice of Foxy-Loxy; she has also been in Elf, Sex and The City, Just Shoot Me, Monk and other television shows. With Paul Dinello and Stephen Colbert she co-wrote and starred in Strangers With Candy, the hit television show on Comedy Central. Amy is one-half of the Talent Family with her brother David Sedaris, and they have collaborated on several plays, including the Obie Award Winning play One Woman Shoe. A regular on David Letterman, her famous cheese balls can be bought at Gourmet Garage and her cupcakes at Joe Coffee. Amy lives in Manhattan with her imaginary boyfriend Ricky and her pet rabbit Dusty.
